A pair of antique Tibetan turquoise and silver beads - hair ornaments; measuring 1-1/2” inches each. Made in the late 19thC / early 20th C., these beads were popular in Tibetan culture as beads woven into women’s hair or as beads made into necklaces - and used old Tibetan turquoise that were considered talismans that protected the wearer from spirits.
