A finely crafted antique Tibetan offering bowl made from richly figured burlwood and mounted with hand-worked silver. The bowl features a broad flared silver rim, a simple yet elegant silver pedestal foot, and beautifully patterned wood displaying warm honey, amber, and chestnut tones.
The burlwood exhibits attractive natural figure and subtle swirling grain that contrasts beautifully with the aged silver mounts. The pedestal foot is decorated with delicate beaded borders and understated floral detailing, enhancing the traditional Himalayan aesthetic without overwhelming the natural beauty of the wood.
Vessels of this type were used throughout Tibet and the Himalayan region as ceremonial offering bowls and decorative household objects. The balanced proportions and attractive materials make this a particularly appealing example for collectors of Tibetan and Buddhist art.
