An antique mid 19th C., silver cup stand and silver cup. This cup stand set has details which are unique to Tibetan cup stands - with details that are carved on the cup corner including the flat circular finial which is in metal and gilded. The cup plate has the shape of 8 lotus turned up and damascened motifs of the eight lucky signs.
This is a relatively small cup stand and measures:
cover -1-3/8"height , 3-1/2” dia
base - 2-3/8” height, foot 1-3/4” dia, cup plate - 4-1/8” dia.
