A antique Tibetan throne seat, from the mid 20th C. In good condition, made of wool and with a gray/ black background. The rug has a central a flower motif that is framed by a geometric border. The rug measures 34”x35”and is oversized for a chair. The size of the rug and the attention to detail and artistry of the rug suggests that it was used probably as a throne seat cover.
