A panel of antique Tibetan fabric handwoven and consisting of repeating colors and bands of colors with rows of crosses block printed / dyed onto the fabric. made in the likeness of patterns used in Tibetan blankets, the fabric initially gives the appearance that it is a fragment of a old Tibetan blanket. However, the fragment is woven with the fineness of antique “pangden” - aprons - which then suggests that the panel most probably comes from an antique dress or coat. weavers from central Tibet were very well worn for their skill and ease with mixing colors. The design of the fabric, style of weaving and colors suggest that this may have come from that region,
