An antique painted Tibetan wooden chest measuring 22"h x 38"l x 12"w, from the late 19th/ early 20th Century, this elm wood box is decorated with wrought iron mounts and painted on two sides - the front and the top lid. The paintings consist of exotic birds amidst scrolling vines and flowers on a red ground.
