An antique 19th C., Tibetan silver belt buckle with hooks at the back , and with metal detailings consisting of birds, flora and fauna measuring 4”x 5.5” width. Buckles such as these were used by women as fasteners to hold in place their dresses and aprons-sometimes in the front and oftentimes at the back.
