19th C./20th Century rare antique Tibetan floral rug

An antique late 19th Century Tibetan rug - all wool rug with a floral central design. Yellow rugs were generally reserved for the clergy and signified a monk of rank and highly sought after. This rug is intact though the pile has worn out in several places.
